PhilosophyWe’re teaching experienced players the skills they need to play at higher levels. We understand there is more to life than just our sport, but do expect a pretty substantial commitment. Playing time must be earned at this level.
Team BioOur Mission The Agoura Aces Baseball Club goal is to provide a positive environment for committed student athletes who desire to play competitive youth baseball beyond the traditional recreational league season and to have each athlete reach their full potential as a baseball player and community leader. Our club emphasizes advanced skill development, team building, personal character and leadership. We instruct a diverse regime to showcase each athlete's talent and forge a team bond. As baseball is a gentlemen's game, so shall our ballplayers conduct themselves and become leaders in sportsmanship and life. Guiding Principles Positions for the club are determined by skill level of the players. Tournament baseball is competitive and game rosters are established completely at the discretion of the team manager. Coaches will work to develop players in the positions for which they are most suited. Players will be taught the mechanics and strategy required to play their particular position. Though players are not necessarily rotated through positions or afforded equal playing time, as in recreational play, the goal is to get all players as much playing time as possible. Managing and coaching decisions will be guided at all times by what is best for the team; rather than accommodate individual wishes and preferences. There will NOT be any coach favoritism. The Manager/Coach’s sons will be treated equally to other players on the team; no exceptions.
